Create Centre Hole

The hole is in the center of the part but the absolute coordinate is not known (though it could be calculated).  This step shows how set absolute coordinates from existing geometry, saving time on calculations.

1Select the Circle Centre-Radius tool:

962

2Move the cursor over the left hexagon point (until it 'snaps').  (Note: do not Click the mouse button)

3Press the Y key.  (Note: this sets the absolute Y coordinate at the correct height)

4Move the cursor over the center of top line of the hexagon (until it 'snaps').  (Note: do not Click the mouse button)

5Press the X key.  (Note: this sets the absolute X coordinate at the correct width)

6Press the ENTER key to set the center point of the circle.

7Enter the radius of the circle.

Press the L key, Enter 20mm / 0.8";

Press the ENTER key.
