Nest Friendly Leads

Nest Friendly Lead Placement is an option of cutting tools, designed to place a leadin onto the corner of a part which is less likely to collide with other parts during nesting.  This will place attach an arc leadin with a 30 degree swept angle to sharp corners instead of the traditional line, when processing parts.  Nest Friendly leads can be used in conjunction with Flexible Leads to improve nest efficiency and regularity.

Nest Friendly Lead Placement has no effect when processing Plates, it is only used when processing Parts.

The Nest Friendly lead placement takes the leadin and leadout "into the corner void" between parts, particularly when nesting arrays of rectangles.  After nesting:

NOTE Special angled Hook leadins are now used for nest-Friendly lead placement, super ceding the arc leads shown here.  This is effective from version 4.132 onwards.
