Setting up Delegates in PrimecutNE

If you are using the SmartHPR post processor your marking tool is most likely already set up to use delegates. To check whether your marking tool uses delegates go to the Machines module and select the SmartHPR post processor (see). Then expand the marking tool and check that the Tool Select Code has the lines T2($FIRST_CUT_LOOKUP$) and M101. If it does then you are good to use marking delegates in your programs. If it does not then contact Kinetic see if this can be set up for your system.

You will need PrimeCut NE version 4.2.145 to have marking process delegates. To check your version number click on the Help menu in PrimeCut NE and select About PrimeCut NE.

To use Marking delegates in a program process the part as you would normally and select the marking tool for the paths you wish to mark.  When the NC code is generated PrimeCut NE will enter the next cutting process as the marking process but will follow that with an M101. This M101 tells TouchCut to replace this process with the first delegate for this process.
