Table Repositioning Zones

Some machines such as the LVD Impuls laser requires plates to be processed in multiple zones, where processes cannot cross a zone boundary

The controller settings for the repositioning zones are found under the Table Repositioning Zones under the Machine Settings tab in the Machines menu.

TableRepositioningZones

Repo Zone Count : The number of zones a plate could span

Repo Split Gap : The gap size of the splits automatically applied to processes that cross the repositioning zone boundary

Repo Split Leads Option: 0 means No Override, the cutting process leads settings are left alone. 1 means vertical Parallel Hook leads. 2 means vertical Linear leads.

Repo Split Leads Tip Gap: The distance between the tips (reduced to gap size for parallel hook leads if it exceeds it)

Repo Split Leads Height: The shortest vertical distance of a lead (one lead may be longer in order to achieve a gap width).

Single Zone Start Codes / Single Zone End Codes : G codes used when cutting a single zone

X Dim / Y Dim : The dimensions of the zone on the plate

Repo Start Codes / Repo End Codes : codes used between cutting multiple zones

Where *REPO ZONE SPLIT* settings is selected, when saved, the settings will be used for the Auto Repo Zone Splits.

The Auto Split By Repo Zone will remove all automatically generated splits and reapply them according to these settings. These are also applied automatically on any process that crosses the repositioning zone, on Sequence optimization or NC code generation.

When splits are added or when the sequence tree has been changed to comply with a zone by zone repositioning order, a warning message is presented to the user to notify of the change

These warnings can be turned off via the checkbox shown in the Tools > Options > Processing menu:
