Major Functionality in version 135
Version 4.135.7
•Materials can inherit other material's Cutting/Marking/Spindle process data - NOTE: User should check migration of spindle bits
•Improvements to query performance of queries that show recently modified entries (My Recent.../All Recent...)
•Data History logging added for all data tables, so values can be compared against historical values. Accessed via menu Tools > Data History. Can be turned off in Global Settings.
•Part Unloader Magnet Curve ini files from the touchcut machine can now be loaded per machine/controller.
Important / Breaking Database Changes To Note:
oQuoting reports: Where tblCustomer.CuttingDiscount, and tblWorkorder.CuttingDiscount referred to the total processing discount, it now refers exclusively to cutting processes, (as opposed to beveling, milling, drilling and marking processes). The existing values at time of migration will be copied to all of these fields (e.g. BevelingDiscount). The tblWorkorderItem CutCost column has been changed to a calculated SQL field that sums the columns CuttingCost + BevelingCost + DrillingCost + MillingCost + MarkingCost. Similarly for CutSell. Also calculated and available for reporting is the CutMargin (CutSell-CutCost), CuttingMargin, BevelingMargin, DrillingMargin, MilingMargin and MarkingMargin.
oPlate Templates: Templates will have a enforced unique name. Duplicate templates at the time of migration will have a suffix to rename them to make them unique. E.g. ~1
oSpindle Process Data: Previously process data would be obtained from the material grade (if specified) or from the first material family the grade was a member of that had spindle process data. This could lead to ambiguity if the spindle data existed in multiple families a grade was a member of. Primecut now supports explicit specification of which grade or family to look in if process data is not defined on the grade itself. See Material Inheritance
oPart Unloaders: Where previously having machine7.ini and magnetcurves7.ini files in your Primecut client directory was enough to tell Primecut a part unloader was in use, now those ini files need to be loaded into the controller in Primecut. From the Machines window, select the appropriate controller, and click Import Machine Files, and navigate to that file location. Only when a part is given a controller with a part unloader will the unloading magnet plan tab appear.
Major Functionality in version 134
Version 4.134.42
oUpdated DWG/DXF import DLLs
oImproved sequencing of trapdoors for plate-dragga machines
oMultiaxis cutting can be applied to staggered cuts that now autoextend.
oAutomated 'snipping' cuts can now be applied to split cut processes.
oHole and Bevel summary columns added to parts list.
oData tables can be filtered by their column contents
oBridge Joining - support for multiple connection points for joining parts into clusters, eg for rolling multiple parts as a single part
oImproved Part labeling- a new engine which preserves the original template with each label simplifies binding
oBulk editing of part material/thickness in workorders and quotes
oProcess Data: Improved Interface for copying processes between materials
oSequence Warnings are generated when scheduling plates if the sequence looks incorrect, and processing added to the plate will be ordered to be internal to external order, with the exception of bevels and overlapping spindle processes.
oOptimize Order in Sequencing will now order overlapping bevels and cuts in negative to positive angle order.
oPart processing of a different machine to the plate can be mapped on part nest if 'Show Dialog For Mapping Tools' is selected in User Options.
oSegment Actions added to Geometry Editor
Major Functionality in Release 133 (General Stability Release)
Version 4.133.6
Version 133 is an enhanced stability release based on 132.661, no new major functionality will be added to this release, with new features being added in future to release 134.
•Skeleton Crops now process to the edge of the parts offset according to the kerf on the default cropping tool's kerf and Skeleton Crop Part Offset tool setting.
•Increased support for LVD Laser post-processors
Major Functionality in Release 132 First Release March 2022:
Version 4.132.661
•SmartCluster: Plate Divide option added
oTagging or Splitting a Cut - updated to support consistent gap sizes between leads
oSupport for reversing segments of split cutting processes
oNew Line Item window supports setting material grade and thickness from selected text in Manual Part Harvesting
Version 4.132.652
•Undo functionality extended to plates: Nesting, Processing and Sequencing editors now allow the user to undo changes made when working with plates (Ctrl-Z).
•Scheduling page can now be searched by tool type, tool name or process name
•The Plate selector can now be filtered by tool type, tool name or process name
•Hole Destroy function for Lasers
•Crop Outwards option for Lasers
•Support for table indexing Lasers
Version 4.132.647:
•Interactive Nestmap tab in plate properties
•Workorder and Quote Line Numbering
Earlier
•REST webserver- allows integration with 3rd party accounting and ERP applications via a bi-directional REST interface, includes Quoting, Job and Plate Stock Management endpoints. Online documentation for the REST API can be found here.
•Subroutine support for postprocessors
•Microjoint support
•More database configurable options for lead placement, and ability to autoplace hook leads
•New postprocessor support for Bystronic and LVD lasers, and Farley combination machines
•New Material Pricing Model with increased granularity: price by Grade and Thickness (existing Functionality), Plate Template or individual plate pricing.
•Improved support for different plate conditions; apply different processing settings based on plate condition
•Improved Touchcut Integration: compare predicted runtimes with actual machine times tool by tool, program by program (Requires Touchcut update)
•Automatic updating of Primecut client caches (users, materials, processing data, machines etc) when server data is modified.
•Drill Prepierce support for Milling processes
•Cooperative Locking of workorder line items, enabling nesting of some line items while others are being edited.
•Aids to refreshing line item Part Revisions in Nesting Mode.

•Remove Leads and Loops now removes corner loops, as well as multisegment leadins and leadouts
Major Functionality Introduced in Release 131:
First Release August 25 2020
Release 131 contains a number of major new features. It will require a database update to schema v48 (running a full server update takes care of this).
Primecut client version numbers will from now on use the Release Number as the second item in the version number, so Primecut client for Release 131 will be designated ver 4.131.xxx.xxxx.
•Workorder and Quote Sharing between Databases
•New Calendar Scheduling Window
•Spindle Depth Overrides and Depth Expressions
•Tekla EPM (formertly Fabsuite) Integration
The following functionality may be available in the latest Release 130 client versions. Refer to your readme.text to see what is included in your version.
