Right click menus have been provided in the Plate Selector, and Plates pane of of the Nest Explorer, allowing plates related by various means to the selection to be displayed.  The various relationship searches are all grouped under the Show Related Plates.. submenu:

 

Show Remnant-Related Plates

This uses the Adam Plate (originally purchased material) as its starting point and works it way down through all generations of offcuts and skeletons produced from all generations.

 

Show Plates with Common Workorder Items

This shows plates sharing the same nested workorder line items.  Useful when managing part revision changes on nested parts.  

Test Coupon parts are ignored.

 

Show Plates related by Workorder

This shows plates with nested line items from the same workorders as the line items nested here.

Test Coupon parts are ignored.

 

Show Plates containing the same nested Part Revisions

This shows plates sharing the same nested part revisions.  They may be referenced by different line items from different workorders.  Useful when managing part revision changes on nested parts.

Test Coupon parts are ignored.

 

 

A similar menu is also available from the parts pane of the nest explorer, for finding plates containing parts or line items related to the selection.  There is no "show remnant-related plates" option here of course, but another useful option is provided in addition to Show Plates Containing Selected Workorder Line Items, Show Plates Containing the Selected Part Revisions and Show Plates Containing other Line Items from the Same Workorder (whose meanings should be obvious from the above):

 

Show Plates Containing Any Revision of Selected Parts

This is similar to Show Plates Containing the Selected Part Revisions, but will also include plates containing older and newer revisions of those parts.
