Apply Transition Bevel

Allows a transition bevel to be evenly applied over a continuous set of bevel segments, from a single bevel process.  Bevel angle is linearly varied over the length of the segments.

It is easy to apply a transition bevel to a single segments via the properties window, but in some cases it can be difficult, especially where the underlying geometry is represented a number of underlying segments, such as an ellipse:

You cannot apply a bevel transition across the leadin attachment point, you can apply such a transition in two steps, for the segments before the leadin, and then for the segments after.

Usage

1.Select a contiguous range of bevel segments to apply the transition to.  It does not matter if other processing is selected as well, so long as no other bevel processes are selected.

2.Right click and choose Apply Transition Bevel from the menu

3.Enter the Start and End bevel angles in the dialog.  It will pre-populate with the start angle of of the first segment and the end angle of the last segment.

4.Press Ok.
