These setting control the basic features of the program such as how it is named, where it is stored, and codes that should always appear at the beginning or end of a program.

▪File Location gives the location where programs for the currently selected machine should be stored. You may wish to change this location on occasion.

▪Auto File Name Format may be changed to reflect the machine the program has been generated for. In the example K4-%0:d, 'K4-' is the code indicating the machine and '%0:d' is the placeholder for the program number. The latter should not be changed.
