These settings determine the insertion of comments at the beginning of the program.

▪Comment Format determines the symbol used to denote a comment as opposed to NC code. You should not change this because it will have been set up for the particular machine.

▪You are unlikely to want to change the other settings, but as these only add comments to the program any changes that you do make will not affect how the program runs on the machine.
