These settings determine how units are specified in the program. Once again it is unlikely that you will need to change these settings once they have been set up for the machine concerned.
▪On rare occasions it may be necessary to change NC Code Linear Units Decimal Places which controls the number of decimal places used in a program.
▪Generally 2-3 d.p. is good when metric units are being used, and 4-5 when working in inches.
▪If milling is to be used then you should increase this to 4 d.p. for metric and 6 d.p. for imperial units.
▪NC Code Angular Units Decimal Places is generally only used for specifying macro text, and so 2 decimal places is sufficient.
