Auto Flipping Of Bevelled Parts For Ease of Unloading

This setting for a machine allows for flipping parts so that they can be easily lifted from the plate (Flip Parts with Top Bevels) or the plate easily lifted from them (Flip Parts with Bottom Bevels).

If set to one of these settings Primecut will check if parts are processed (or have geometry hints) with bevels and if bevels of the undesired angle are found it will prompt the user.

If the part has Z asymmetry that is NOT marking (e.g. milling, countersinking, blind holes etc) that cannot be preserved if the part is flipped it is not flipped.

If the part has both positive and negative bevels then the user is asked if they want to flip anyway.

The decision to automatically flip a part or not while is temporarily stored for each part/controller combination while that part is loaded in the workspace.
