Similar to Grain Constraint, Axis Constraint restricts the orientations a part can be nested in to 0 and 180 degrees, however this restriction is relative to the machine coordinate system, not the related plate grain.  This is a requirement of parts processed with MultiAxis processing.  It also assumes the plate will be loaded square to the machine (plate alignment angle 0).

 

Setting Grain Constraint is mutually exclusive of setting Axis Constraint as if the plate grain angle does not align with the machine X-axis, the two will conflict.
