Global Settings - Plate

Keep Skeleton Remnants by Default. If ticked, when reconciling plates skeleton remnants will default to Recycle (Keep). If unchecked skeleton remnants will default to discard.

Default Drop Remnant Size is the size threshold above which PrimeCut will keep the drop part as a remnant. This is particularly useful when cutting large rings.

Strict Plate Audit. If ticked, then to reconcile a plate the Heat and Serial numbers must be entered.

Require Heat and Serial numbers before cutting can begin. If ticked, the or NC programmer must enter the heat and serial numbers before the plate can even be activated for cutting at the machine.

Archive NC Programs on Reconcile. If ticked, NC programs will be shifted to an archive folder when the plate is reconciled. This folder is located within the default NC program location.

Remove NC Programs on Reconcile. If ticked, NC programs will be removed from the NC program folder (or wherever the file is stored) when the plate is reconciled.

Display Plate Grid. If ticked, a 1m square grid will be displayed on plate metafiles, stored in the database and printed on reports.

Allow Nesting on Expected Remnants. If ticked this will allow expected remnant plates to appear in the plate browser when searching for a plate to nest on.

Remnant Naming. Select the remnant naming scheme you wish to use. Note that when switching scheme's, plates named after the old scheme will stay this way. This is covered in detail in Remnant Naming Scheme.
