Normally when copying and pasting a bevel process, you are in fact copying and pasting a single source bevel segment.
Thus you can paste a single bevel segment to:
▪A single segment on another part insert
▪Multiple segments on another part insert
▪A single segment on multiple other part inserts
▪Multiple segments on multiple other part inserts
▪A single segment within the same bevel process
▪Multiple segments within the same bevel process
To achieve any of the above the selected target to paste to must already be processed with a bevel tool.
If the selected target is not yet processed then you may be prompted whether to Paste the Entire Process or to Paste the Segment . You will only have the option to paste the entire process if the target geometry has the same number of segments as the source, as in this case the source segments are copied one by one into the destination segments. Otherwise the copied source segment is copied to all the segments in the target. In either case the leads are copied from the source to the targets.
To Copy to Similar, ensure the destination geometry (what you want to copy to) is unprocessed, or at least not bevel processed, otherwise you may get unexpected results with the selected source segments being pasted into all segments in the destination, rather than getting exact copies of the copied source bevel process.
