Part Based vs Nest based Quoting

Primecut allows you to quote in several ways:

Part Based Quickest way to quote, no nesting involved, just process the parts.

Nest Based Takes better account of how parts will fit together, rapids, sequencing, toolchange time, plate load and unload times.  This can either be calculated using Nest (Legacy) Allocated Area Calculation or Nest+ Allocated Area Calculation.

Cut Based Uses already cut plates to retroactively quote/charge a job.  Like Nest Based quoting it makes use of nests with all their advantages, but it can also apportion the charges from nests containing parts from foreign workorders.   A special type of quote Quote From Job (QFJ) is used for this, created from a Workorder.
