NC CODE ERROR

 

These errors may be embedded in NC programs when lookup data is not found.

 

eg "Process data not found looking up PROCCODE1 for processID 5000"

 

The postprocessor for the current machine is configured to lookup process data for the current grade and thickness against a processID associated with the current tool.  Often PROCCODE1 is the process to be selected (eg "200A O2 Air), PROCCODE2 is the start code (eg "M30" for a standard start or "M37" for a True Hole start).  To remedy ensure the tool used is appropriate to the grade and thickness (for example there is unlikely to be process data for a 50A plasma process on 2" thick steel, or for a flame process on Stainless steel), and if it is then you may need to edit the process data.
