Unsatisfactory Plate Gripping here

NC CODE WARNING

This warning suggests that gripper planning was not able to find suitable positions for the Plate Dragger grippers to adequately secure it against slipping.  In particular it is likely there are no back grippers activated.

You can still schedule the program, but be aware the plate may slip if it is only held by side grippers.

Too few (<n>) Grippers on Plate

<n> will show the number of grippers.  If <n> is less than two, this warning will be shown.

No Back Grippers on Plate (Allow Side Grippers Only is False)

This will be shown if there are 2 or more grippers on the plate, but no back grippers.  ie the plate is held by Side grippers only, and the controller setting Allow Side Grippers Only is False (the default).

No Back Grippers on Plate (Allow Side Grippers Only is True, but plate is "wide", spans multiple back grippers)

This will be shown if there are 2 or more grippers on the plate, but no back grippers.  ie the plate is held by Side grippers only, and the controller setting Allow Side Grippers Only is True, But the plate spans more than one backgripper.  ie the Allow Side Grippers Only  when set suppresses side gripper only warnings for "narrow" plates only.   Generally this is cause by have large parts or cuts at the back of the plate, possible solutions include:

nesting smaller cuts here,

or breaking up plate spanning chain or common-line cuts into two cuts such that as each cut is performed, one back gripper can clamp.
