Marking

Contour marking lines create paths on the imported program. These can be open or closed, and are hinted such that the marking tool is used to process them.

Some DSTV packages may output contours lines to be marked on both front and behind the part as duplicates. The importer will ignore any features specified on faces other than the front (top) face. When this happens, a warning dialog is generated showing which block(s) were skipped.

The DSTV file format also makes a distinction between contour marks by either powder or punch. From the perspective of PrimeCut however, these are just paths to be marked. To choose the type of marking the appropriate tool must be chosen on the DSTV Processing options tab.

Bend Lines are automatically marked.
