There are four states that a quote can be in.
▪Editing - The default state when creating a quote where you can enter the data and calculate the cost. All other topics in this section apply when the quote is in editing state.
▪Posted - This stores the data in the quote so it can't be changed, this is what you would do when sending it to a customer.
▪Won / Converted to Workorder -When a quote is won, its contents are copied into a new workorder. The quote is marked as being won. You can however win a quote multiple times, creating multiple workorders.
▪Lost / Cancelled, if you lose the quote then you have the option of requoting (generating a new quote of the same parts) or cancelling the quote, which stops it showing up when you search active quotes.
When searching quotes, Active Quotes is a filter which returns Editing and Posted Quotes,
