In general the units used in csv files, both exported and imported, are metric, as follows.

distances and thicknesses: mm

time: s

feedrate and speed: mm/s

area: mm2

weight: kg

density: kg/m3

If you prefer inches, then you may need to add extra working columns in the exported data to get say an inch thickness column.  This isn't imported but only used to help you manipulate the data.   You can add a unit specifier to certain value types as described below, eg "16 ipm" in a feedrate column will should be interpreted as inches per minute, or the " symbol may be used to force inches for a thickness.  But if no unit specifier is present the default metric representation as described above is assumed, regardless of the units Primecut is configured to use.
