Required Columns
material - The name of the grade these settings apply to. Spindle settings can be applied to a material family; if no settings are found for the specific grade Primecut will lookup settings from families containing the grade and take the first found with valid data.
bitname - The name of the spindle bit
feedrate - The nett vertical feedrate in mm/s see Units Used in CSV files
startTime - The start time in secondssee Units Used in CSV files
overshoot -The overshoot in mm see Units Used in CSV files
d1 - The primary Diameter of the bit in mm see Units Used in CSV files (required as of release 131)
a1 - the Tip Angle of the bit in Radians (2.4436341 radians is 140 degrees) (required as of release 131)
Optional Columns
costPerStart, costPerM, costPerHour - consumable based costing parameters, usually zero.
cutSpeed - The peripheral cut speed of the outer edge of the drill in mm/s
toolType - optional default 0 (drilling). The type of the drill, encoded as:
0 Drilling,
1 Tapping,
2 Boring,
3 Routing,
4 SpotDrill,
5 Measure,
6 TwoStage,
7 Chamfer,
8 SnapChamfer,
9 Groove,
10 ThreadMill
Optional Columns for Future Support
(These are stored in the database but are not yet made use of)
cutSpeed2 - A secondary peripheral cut speed of the outer edge of the drill in mm/s, eg for 2-stage drills
feedRate2 - A secondary nett vertical feedrate in mm/s see Units Used in CSV files
d2, d3- additional bit diameters in mm
l1, l2, l3- bit geometry lengths in mm
a2, a3 - additional bit angles in radians
r1, r2, r3 - bit radii in mm
